Introducing HOSPITABLE to Strengthen the Cybersecurity and Resilience of European Healthcare
HOSPITABLE is a new European project dedicated to strengthening the cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity of hospitals and healthcare providers across Europe through the deployment of a modular, interoperable, and scalable platform.
Officially launched on 1 June 2026, the project is co-funded by the European Union under the Digital Europe Programme (Grant Agreement No. 101299556) and supported by the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
Coordinated by UNISYSTEMS Luxembourg SARL, HOSPITABLE brings together 12 participants from seven European countries and will demonstrate and validate its innovative solutions through three pilot sites.
Why HOSPITABLE is needed now
As healthcare organisations become increasingly digitalised, they face growing cybersecurity challenges, including ransomware attacks, data breaches, evolving regulatory requirements, and the need to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
HOSPITABLE responds to these challenges by developing a modular, interoperable, and scalable cybersecurity platform tailored to the specific needs of the healthcare sector. The project aims to support healthcare organisations in preventing, detecting, responding to, and recovering from cyber threats while maintaining the continuity of critical healthcare services.
