HOSPITABLE Kick-off Meeting Underway
Today, the HOSPITABLE consortium is gathering for the project’s Kick-off Meeting, marking the start of a collaborative European initiative dedicated to strengthening the cybersecurity, resilience, and business continuity of hospitals and healthcare providers across Europe.
As the meeting progresses, partners are presenting their organisations, expertise, and planned contributions, laying the foundations for a strong and effective collaboration over the next two years. Through a comprehensive programme of presentations, discussions, and exchanges, the consortium is aligning its vision, reviewing project objectives and implementation plans, and taking the first steps towards delivering tangible benefits for the European healthcare sector.
Bringing together 12 organisations from 7 European countries, HOSPITABLE will develop and validate an innovative, modular, interoperable, and scalable cybersecurity platform designed to support hospitals and healthcare providers in preventing, detecting, responding to, and recovering from evolving cyber threats.
The meeting also benefits from the participation of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), the project’s Granting Authority, whose guidance is contributing to a shared understanding of the project’s implementation framework, reporting obligations, and key expectations.
As healthcare systems continue to face increasing cybersecurity challenges, HOSPITABLE aims to deliver practical and sustainable solutions that enhance cyber resilience, support regulatory compliance, safeguard sensitive health data, and ensure the continuity of critical healthcare services.
The consortium embarks on this journey with a shared commitment to building a safer, more resilient, and more trusted healthcare ecosystem across Europe.
We look forward to a successful and productive collaboration and to sharing the project’s progress, achievements, and results in the months ahead.
